MY 8-POINT PLAN FOR CARECOOP

  1. First Sustain the Gains Already Made I will support continuity of what works while strengthening governance, risk control, and long-term sustainability.
  2. Transparency Through Quarterly Performance Bulletins I will advocate for simple quarterly bulletins shared with members, covering savings growth, loan performance, investments, and liquidity—so members can make informed decisions.
  3. Diversify Investments Beyond Lusaka I will push for onboarding credible real estate partners from other districts, reducing risk and expanding income opportunities nationally.
  4. Faster, Smarter Customer Service I will advocate for additional automated electronic response systems to improve responsiveness and communication with members.
  5. Stronger Ownership Through Member Literacy I will promote member education on shares, ownership, and long-term wealth creation, empowering members as true owners of the SACCO.
  6. Growth With Risk Protection I will advocate for More diversified investment vehicles, Strong liquidity management, and push for Risk mitigation measures against external shocks (e.g. job losses)
