I am a Payroll Officer with over five years of experience in finance, supported by professional work in both the government and NGO sectors. My career has centered on financial management, compliance, and direct engagement with employees and stakeholders across different employment stages.

Through my payroll and finance roles, I have worked closely with employees to ensure accuracy, accountability, and transparency in financial processes. This experience has strengthened my understanding of how financial decisions affect individuals not only during active employment,but also during transitions such as unemployment, contract suspensions, or post-employment periods.

My exposure to both government and NGO environments has given me a broad perspective on financial systems, governance, and the importance of clear communication between institutions and the people they serve.

What You Intend To Bring to the Board

I intend to bring strong financial expertise, governance-focused thinking, and a member-centered perspective to the Care Cooperative Board. I am committed to the Cooperative’s core values, accountability, transparency, respect etc.

1. Informed Insight into Financial Systems

   • I will help the board understand the cooperative’s financial operations, payroll processes, and loan structures so that decisions are based on accurate, up-to-date information.
   • Example: By analyzing member loan repayment trends, I can advise on adjustments that reduce defaults while keeping services sustainable.

2. Accountability

   • I will ensure the board makes decisions with full transparency and compliance, protecting the Cooperative and its members.
   • Example: Reviewing financial reports and ensuring all transactions are documented correctly helps prevent errors, mismanagement, or misunderstandings.

3. Risk Awareness

   • I will identify potential financial or operational risks early, enabling the board to proactively manage them.
   • Example: Noticing funding gaps or vulnerabilities in member support during employment disruptions, I can propose solutions to protect members’ long-term stability.
