Experience Profile And How It Relates To This Role

I am business administration and HR professional with a focus on governance. I oversee HR operations for over 400 employees in three sister companies, offering realworld experience in organizational oversight, crossentity governance, and policy alignment that is pertinent to board-level decision-making.

With my background in labour law interpretation, statutory compliance, and interaction with regulatory frameworks like NHIMA and NAPSA, I am able to effectively identify risks, oversee compliance, and provide fiduciary assurance. In addition, I work on billing, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy, which helps me to better examine financial data and safeguard member assets.

I lead an HR team with an emphasis on moral leadership, accountability, and performance monitoring, in line with the Board’s duty to oversee management conduct and organisational culture. I also provide strong people and culture governance. Strategic oversight, project governance, and sustainable cooperative management are all made possible by my experience with systems, data integrity, and analytics, as well as my continuous studies in project management, business administration and my HRCI professional certification.

What You Intend To Bring to the Board

I intend to contribute a solid viewpoint on governance, compliance, and risk oversight that is based on real-world operating experience and industry standards. In order to promote sensible, legal, and long-lasting decision-making, I will provide knowledgeable analysis of financial reports, policies, and strategic initiatives.

I will ask unbiased, knowledgeable questions, spot dangers early, and provide management with helpful support while preserving the proper level of board independence. I make sure decisions are in line with Care Coop's cooperative mission by using an ethical, data-driven, and member-focused approach. Above all, I will protect member interests and promote Care Coop's long-term viability by serving with honesty, responsibility, and independent judgement
